·  Technical information such as IP address, browser, device, approximate location, security logs and website usage events.

·  Cookie preferences, marketing choices and information you voluntarily provide in forms, reviews or support messages.

·  To keep accounting, tax, compliance and business records where required.

·  To send marketing where permitted by law and in accordance with your preferences.

04  /  Legal bases under GDPR

Where the GDPR applies, our legal basis depends on the activity. We commonly process data because it is necessary to perform a contract with you, because we must comply with a legal obligation, because we have a legitimate interest that is not overridden by your rights, or because you have given consent.

For example, order fulfilment is generally contract-based; accounting records may be kept to meet legal obligations; fraud prevention and service security may rely on legitimate interests; and optional marketing or non-essential cookies may rely on consent where required.

05  /  Who may receive information

We may share the information reasonably necessary for a task with service providers such as payment processors, banks, couriers, postal operators, fulfilment partners, product suppliers, hosting and cloud providers, analytics providers, email and customer-support services, fraud-prevention providers, accountants, lawyers and other professional advisers.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect legal rights, to respond to lawful authority requests, or in connection with a genuine corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

06  /  International transfers

Some service providers may process personal data outside Cyprus or outside the European Economic Area. Where a transfer requires safeguards, we will use an available lawful mechanism, such as an adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards or another recognised transfer mechanism.

07  /  Cookies and similar technologies

Vyior may use necessary cookies to operate checkout, security, preferences and shopping functions. Analytics, advertising or other non-essential technologies may also be used where permitted. Where consent is legally required, you can accept, reject or change your choices through the cookie controls made available on the website.

08  /  Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected and for applicable legal, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention and dispute-resolution requirements. Different records can therefore have different retention periods. Data that is no longer required is deleted, anonymised or securely isolated as appropriate.

09  /  Your privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and data portability, and the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority.

To exercise a right, contact support@vyior.com. We may need to verify your identity and may ask for information reasonably necessary to locate the relevant records.

10  /  Marketing communications

You can opt out of promotional email using the unsubscribe facility in the message or by contacting us. Transactional communications about orders, payments, delivery, returns, security or account activity may still be sent when necessary.

11  /  Security

We use reasonable organisational and technical measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so we also encourage customers to use strong, unique passwords and to protect their devices and email accounts.

12  /  Children

Vyior is a general retail store and is not intended to collect personal data directly from children who are not legally able to enter into online purchase contracts. If you believe a child has submitted personal data inappropriately, please contact us so that we can review the situation.

13  /  Complaints and updates

If you believe our handling of your personal data infringes applicable data-protection law, you may contact the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus or another competent supervisory authority. We encourage you to contact us first so we have an opportunity to address the concern.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will be posted on Vyior with an updated effective date.
